What To Watch Out For When Starting Phase 3

During The First Half Of Phase 3 You Should Really Be Careful Of This...

CautionWhen Phase 2 of the HCG Diet is coming to an end, you are instructed by the Protocol to stop using the HCG Hormone, but you should still continue on with the 500 Calorie Diet for an additional 3 days.

This is so that the HCG Hormone has a little bit of time to work its way out of your system. Otherwise, if you just simply started eating a higher amount of calories with the HCG still in your body, it could possibly cause you to gain. That is why cheating on the HCG Diet, even just a little bit, can be a huge issue.

But even after those three days of not taking HCG, you still need to be cautious going into Phase 3 Maintenance.

The Main Thing To Watch Out For When Starting Phase 3:

The most important thing you should be watching out for during the first half of P3 is simply the foods you eat.

I know, you already knew this right. But really, even though most people know to stay far away from sugars and starches for at least the first 3 weeks of the Maintenance Phase, it really is more complex than that.

The reason: Everybody is different. So this means that your body is likely to react completely opposite as my body when it comes to certain types of foods.

This is also why your HCG weight loss results vary so much from person to person -- Because the foods we eat affect us all in different ways. Which is another reason why keeping an HCG Diet Journal is so important, not for just P2, but all the Phases of this diet. This way if you do experience a small gain, you can look at your journal to see what may have caused it.

Plus, your body has been used to eating a very small variety of foods for the past month or two -- So it's only natural to assume that you might be super sensitive to foods that you are not used to eating. This is even more true if you followed my advice and did a full body cleanse, or any other part of Phase 1, before you began the 500 Calorie Diet Program.

So if you haven't been keeping an HCG Diet Journal, start one now, and start paying close attention to what you are consuming. If you can, eat organic. This way your body is less likely to react negatively to the foods you are eating, or the additives in them.

My advice: When first starting P3, although you might want to go wild don't, you might want to try eating mostly the same foods that you were allowed to have on the VLCD, you should just simply increase the amount you are eating. And as you start to increase the calories a little more, slowly start adding in other foods to your diet as well.

If you are worried about what you should and should not eat during Phase 3, here is a P3 Menu that might help you out.

Now I know that this may seem like a no-brainer for some of you. But honestly there are a lot of people on this diet who don't give a second thought to the foods they eat after Phase 2. Unfortunately, these people usually find out the hard way that the ingredients in the foods they eat can dramatically affect the outcome of Phase 3 and ultimately how much success you experience.

Let's Review What We Have Just Learned:

  1. Our bodies are all different.
  2. No two people will experience the HCG Diet in the exact same way.
  3. You should keep an HCG Diet Journal.
  4. Try eating mostly the same foods that you were allowed to have on the VLCD, just more of it.
  5. Work other foods into your diet slowly.
  6. Pay close attention to how your body reacts to different foods, especially during the first half of Phase 3.
  7. Eat organic if at all possible.

Cheese On The HCG Diet - Is It Allowed?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...

HCG Diet Dangers

HCG Diet Dangers - Are there any? And if so, what are they? So what are the dangers associate with the HCG Diet? If you were to Google the term " HCG Diet Dangers ", you would get a bunch of sites trying to sell you something related to the HCG Diet. A lot of the websites that you will run into trying to find the answer to this question, are nothing more than marketers using fear tactics to get you to buy their product. So try not to get pulled in by this sort of thing. The truth is there are some HCG Diet Dangers, but they're probably not as bad as you think. In fact, some of them are human errors that make this method of weight loss the most dangerous. I'm talking about things like getting an infection from not cleaning your syringe. While getting an infection from a syringe is a danger that is associated with the HCG Diet, it is a mistake that a human makes that causes it. Therefore, the danger can be eliminated if you can only remember to use alcohol pads...

How The Hypothalamus Works

What the Hypothalamus Gland does and why it's so important to fix it... The Hypothalamus Gland is located directly below the Thalamus which is at the center of the brain. It controls many automatic functions of the human body. So this means that it can tell the autonomic nervous system what to do. The Hypothalamus also controls pituitary output by distributing certain chemicals to the pituitary's frontal lobe. To put it more simply, the Hypothalamus Gland organizes and controls many complex emotions, feelings and moods. It also controls all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities. The neurons in the Hypothalamus produce a number of Hypothalamic Neurotransmitters which relay information and instruction to all parts of the brain and body, directly influencing the Pituitary Gland. This is where the Growth Hormone, Thyroid Hormone Releasi...
