HCG Food

Using HCG is just the half of it! The HCG Food is the other half!

Eating CardboardThe HCG Weight Loss Plan allows a person to eat just 2 small meals per day - And the HCG Food list that you'll find in the protocol is a short one at best. However, the HCG Diet was designed to promote fast weight loss by using healthy meal plans, and it does just that.

But I will say this, out of all the weight loss plans out there, the HCG Program does give you some of the best diet foods to eat with your meals. Granted the meals may be small, but I think that fact that you can have Steak, Shrimp or even Lobster makes up for it.

With most diet meal plans the food hardly even qualifies as food. Honestly, who made up the rule that eating healthy has to taste like cardboard.

Not to mention that the so called "Healthy Diet Recipes" that other weight loss programs give you are all so bland and tasteless - Which is most likely due to the fact that they don't allow you to season your food.

With this Diet Plan you can have Sea Salt, Black Pepper and almost any other seasoning in your HCG Food Recipes.

So what foods are allowed on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet? See for yourself!

HCG Food List:

For your lunch and dinner you are allowed 1 protein, 1 vegetable, 1 fruit and 1 Grissini Bread-Stick or Melba Toast.

HCG Protein:

3.5 ounces of Chicken Breast
3.5 ounces of White Fish
3.5 ounces of Lobster
3.5 ounces of Beef
3.5 ounces of Crab
3.5 ounces of Shrimp
3.5 ounces of Veal

HCG Fruits:

A Handful of Strawberries
1 Orange
1 Apple
1/2 Grapefruit

HCG Vegetables:

Celery

The HCG Protocol says that you should not consume any of the same protein, vegetable or fruit for lunch and dinner. For example if you have Fish, Spinach and an Orange for lunch, you should not eat Fish, Spinach or an Orange with your dinner.

As you can see, if you are using the low calorie foods on the list above, it's not going to be too terribly hard to come up with healthy food recipes. In fact, you'll find plenty of delicious, yet healthy HCG Recipes, P2 and otherwise, sprinkled all throughout our HCG Blog.

So although this diet was designed with rapid weight loss in mind, the HCG Food options that you are allowed to eat is better than most diets provide you with.

If you ask me, or any of the other millions of satisfied HCG Dieters, whether you are using HCG Drops, HCG Pellets or HCG Shots, this diet is hands down the best diet to lose weight with; and probably the best tasting too.

Have you ever tried another diet that allowed you to eat good food?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...

How The Hypothalamus Works

What the Hypothalamus Gland does and why it's so important to fix it... The Hypothalamus Gland is located directly below the Thalamus which is at the center of the brain. It controls many automatic functions of the human body. So this means that it can tell the autonomic nervous system what to do. The Hypothalamus also controls pituitary output by distributing certain chemicals to the pituitary's frontal lobe. To put it more simply, the Hypothalamus Gland organizes and controls many complex emotions, feelings and moods. It also controls all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities. The neurons in the Hypothalamus produce a number of Hypothalamic Neurotransmitters which relay information and instruction to all parts of the brain and body, directly influencing the Pituitary Gland. This is where the Growth Hormone, Thyroid Hormone Releasi...

HCG Diet Dangers - Are there any? And if so, what are they? So what are the dangers associate with the HCG Diet? If you were to Google the term " HCG Diet Dangers ", you would get a bunch of sites trying to sell you something related to the HCG Diet. A lot of the websites that you will run into trying to find the answer to this question, are nothing more than marketers using fear tactics to get you to buy their product. So try not to get pulled in by this sort of thing. The truth is there are some HCG Diet Dangers, but they're probably not as bad as you think. In fact, some of them are human errors that make this method of weight loss the most dangerous. I'm talking about things like getting an infection from not cleaning your syringe. While getting an infection from a syringe is a danger that is associated with the HCG Diet, it is a mistake that a human makes that causes it. Therefore, the danger can be eliminated if you can only remember to use alcohol pads...
