Grissini Breadsticks!

Hmmm ... Where To Find Grissini Breadsticks?

Box of Grissini Breadsticks

In Dr Simeons HCG Protocol Pounds and Inches, you find a short list of HCG Foods. But for me, and most other HCG Dieters, there is one thing that helps to make the diet just a little bit better, I am of coarse talking about those thin and crunchy Grissini Bread Sticks, or Grissini Sticks as they are sometimes called.

In fact, the only negative thing that I hear people on the HCG Hormone Diet say about these delicious little Italian breadsticks, is that they are simply too hard to find - And to be honest I used to think the exact same thing.

But not anymore!

That's because awhile back I was able to locate a number of different places on the web, as well as a few stores that carry the elusive Grissini Breadstick. And although I have answered this question in blog posts, comments and on our HCG Forum, this still seems to be a fairly common conversation among HCG Diet users.

However, since my last post about where to buy Grissini Breadsticks, there have been more locations that have started carrying them. That is actually the reason I am writing about them today - I wanted to go ahead and give you an updated answer to the question...

Where Can I Buy Grissini Breadsticks?

A few stores that carry Grissini Breadsticks:

  • Safeway
  • TomThumb
  • Vons
  • Whole Foods
  • Bristol Farms
  • Lowes Foods
  • Publix
  • Cost Plus World Market
  • Rodman's
  • London Drugs (in Canada)
  • Braum's
  • Walmart

As you can see there are a lot of grocery stores that carry Grissini Breadsticks. But the real trick is locating them on the shelves - Some stores like to stock them in the bakery or with other Italian foods, and some put them where they should be, right next to the Melba Toast and crackers. So be sure to ask someone if you can't find them in your local supermarket.

Now if you are like me and you like to save yourself the trouble of a wild goose chase, you can simply order them through Amazon - They even carry the ever so popular brand Granforno.

Of coarse one other option is to create your very own Grissini Sticks with this easy Grissini Recipe that I posted a little while back. Check out the post here ... Homemade HCG Grissini Breadsticks.

Or you might do what lots of other HCG'ers do, forget about Grissini Breadsticks altogether and use Melba Toast!

NOTE: Be sure to always check the ingredients of the Grissini Breadsticks when using them for the HCG Hormone Diet. When Dr. Simeons listed them in the HCG Protocol he referred to them as "Breadstick Grissino", which are actually made in Italy. So just be sure that the ingredients listed for the brand that you prefer are not going to interfere with your diet. I do know that the Granforno Brand is safe to use During Phase1, Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the HCG Diet.

Cheese On The HCG Diet - Is It Allowed?

Is cheese one of the items on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet Menu? Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are a lot of different rules to follow. On top of it all, you have to remember which foods you can and cannot eat. However, what people usually remember more than anything is that list of foods you can have is much smaller than the foods that you can't. Still, it can be quite a task to memorize that list in such a short period of time. I guess this is why people always ask my wife and I which foods are allowed during Phase 2 of the HCG Weight Loss Diet - One of the more common foods we are asked about is cheese. Now I love cheese probably more than the average person, so I can definitely understand why people are hoping and praying that it's listed on the HCG Diet Menu. And this brings us to the question we are here to answer... Can You Have Cheese On The HCG 500 Calorie Diet? I think deep down inside most of you already knew that the answer ...

HCG Diet Dangers

HCG Diet Dangers - Are there any? And if so, what are they? So what are the dangers associate with the HCG Diet? If you were to Google the term " HCG Diet Dangers ", you would get a bunch of sites trying to sell you something related to the HCG Diet. A lot of the websites that you will run into trying to find the answer to this question, are nothing more than marketers using fear tactics to get you to buy their product. So try not to get pulled in by this sort of thing. The truth is there are some HCG Diet Dangers, but they're probably not as bad as you think. In fact, some of them are human errors that make this method of weight loss the most dangerous. I'm talking about things like getting an infection from not cleaning your syringe. While getting an infection from a syringe is a danger that is associated with the HCG Diet, it is a mistake that a human makes that causes it. Therefore, the danger can be eliminated if you can only remember to use alcohol pads...

How The Hypothalamus Works

What the Hypothalamus Gland does and why it's so important to fix it... The Hypothalamus Gland is located directly below the Thalamus which is at the center of the brain. It controls many automatic functions of the human body. So this means that it can tell the autonomic nervous system what to do. The Hypothalamus also controls pituitary output by distributing certain chemicals to the pituitary's frontal lobe. To put it more simply, the Hypothalamus Gland organizes and controls many complex emotions, feelings and moods. It also controls all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities. The neurons in the Hypothalamus produce a number of Hypothalamic Neurotransmitters which relay information and instruction to all parts of the brain and body, directly influencing the Pituitary Gland. This is where the Growth Hormone, Thyroid Hormone Releasi...
