Fried Chicken For The HCG Diet

How would you like to eat some "fried chicken" on the HCG Diet?

Back in early 2010 I posted a recipe for HCG Style Fried Chicken, it has since then become one of my most popular blog posts.

Personally I think it's one of the most delicious recipes available for the HCG Diet.

That is why today I have decided to re-post this amazing 500 Calorie Recipe. So just in case you missed it the first time around, here it is again ... HCG Style Fried Chicken

HCG Style Fried Chicken

Here's what you'll need...
 
  • 100 grams - Chicken 
  • 1 Grissini Breadstick/Melba-Toast crushed into a fine powder  
  • 1 Dash - Garlic Powder  
  • 1 Pinch - Oregano 
  • 1 Pinch - Sea Salt and Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Tablespoon - Milk
  • Chicken Broth

To Fry: Heat nonstick skillet to Medium High

To Bake: Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Salt and Pepper both sides of chicken. Mix the crushed Grissini-Breadstick/Melba-Toast, seasonings, and herbs in a bowl.

For Baking:

Coat chicken with milk/broth mixture, then then roll it in Grissini-Breadstick/Melba-Toast mixture. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Broil for the last 5 minutes.

Tip: Brush chicken broth on your chicken as it bakes.

For Frying
:


Coat the chicken in Grissini-Breadstick/Melba-Toast mixture. Put enough broth in bottom of a nonstick frying pan to cover slightly. Add chicken. Cook on both sides until golden and done, adding more broth as it cooks off.
