Smoking While Using HCG - Is It Allowed?
Anyone who has read the HCG Diet Protocol knows that there are many different things that can interrupt the process of losing weight on the HCG Diet.
But nowhere in the original protocol does it say if smoking can cause you to plateau.
However, we all know that it's an unhealthy habit, and if you plan on improving your life you should strongly consider giving it up.
So what if you're already in the process of quitting cigarettes while on the HCG Diet - could it cause problems if you are using the nicotine gum to stop?
The other day on the HCG 411 Facebook page, someone posted on our wall that they are in the process of quitting smoking and that they are using nicotine gum.
They were mainly concerned with the ingredients of the nicotine gum affecting their weight loss in some way.
These are my thoughts on the topic...
While a few of the ingredients found in certain brands of nicotine gum is not good to use on the HCG Diet, it is usually in such small amounts that it's unlikely to affect you.
In addition, the harmful affects that smoking can have on you is going to be far worse than anything the nicotine gum could possibly do. Right?
So in my opinion, if the nicotine gum is working for you, I say keep using it!
