The hardest part about being on the HCG Diet during the holidays is not being able to eat any of those delicious desserts. Well, that's all about to change - I have a great Phase 3 Recipe for HCG Pumpkin Custard.
This is a good recipe to have for Halloween, Thanksgiving and even Christmas. What's more, this is something that the whole family will enjoy. So here's your Phase 3 Dessert Recipe for...
HCG Pumpkin Custard
Here's what you'll need...
- 1 3/4 cup - Canned Pumpkin (small can)
- 2 - Eggs
- 1 cup - Skim Milk
- 2 tsp. - Cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. - Ginger
- 1/2 tsp. - Nutmeg
- 3/4 cup - Xylitol (use more or less to taste)
Directions:
- Add all of the ingredients into a microwave safe bowl.
- Beat with a wire whisk.
- Place in microwave uncovered.
- Cook on high for 8 to 10 minutes - Depending on the power of your microwave.
- Check pie after 4 or 5 minutes.
- Pie is considered done when the outside edges start pulling away from the sides just a bit. Stick a knife in the middle, if it doesn't come out clean that is another indication that it's done.
- Take out of microwave and cover the bowl with a plate for about 5 minutes to let the center finish cooking.
- Cut it just like you would a pie.
- You can use a spoon to scoop out servings.
- Try serving this dessert warm or cold with Sugar-Free Whipped Cream.
