HCG Diet Phase 2

If you don't know everything there is to know about Phase 2 of the HCG Diet, you need to keep reading...

In my last post I gave you Phase 1 of the HCG Diet. And like I told you yesterday, the 1st phase of the diet is highly recommended. So if you haven't done it yet, make sure this is something that you at least consider before starting the 500 Calorie Diet.

Now I am sure I don't have to tell you that Phase 2 is the most important part of the HCG Diet when it comes to losing weight. In fact, this is the phase that you will lose all of your weight in. So if you haven't read this part of the protocol, here is Phase 2 in its entirety...

Phase 2 of the HCG Diet

The entire manuscript that describes this protocol is entitled, Pounds and Inches: A New Approach to Obesity - by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, M.D.

P2 HCG Diet(THIS PHASE MUST BE DONE UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF A LICENSED HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONER!)

Day One:

  • Take an injection of between 125-200 units of hCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) first thing in the morning.

  • Drink one-half to one gallon of water throughout the day, ideally with coral calcium sachets.

  • Gorge yourself and eat as much food as you can throughout the day.

  • Do any of the items from Phase 1 as you choose.

Day Two:

  • Repeat Day One.

Day Three:

  • Weigh yourself immediately upon arising, after emptying the bladder, without clothes.

  • Take an injection of between 125-200 units of hCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) first thing in the morning.

  • Drink one-half to one gallon of water throughout the day, ideally with coral calcium sachets.

For breakfast have only:

  • Black Coffee
  • Organic Green Tea
  • Organic Yerba Mate Tea
  • Organic Wu Long Tea
  • Organic Chamomile Tea

Throughout the morning drink as much organic green tea, organic Yerba Mate tea, organic Wu Long tea, and/or organic chamomile tea, and water as you desire. Always make your tea with pure water, never tap water.

For lunch eat 100 grams (weighed raw) of grilled (no oil or fat):

  • Organic Grass Fed Beef
  • Veal
  • Organic Chicken Breast (skinless)
  • Wild Chilean Sea Bass
  • Flounder
  • Sole
  • Halibut

One large handful of one of the following organic vegetables:

  • Spinach
  • Chard
  • Beet greens
  • Lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Celery
  • Fennel
  • White Onions
  • Yellow Onions
  • Red onions
  • Red Radishes
  • Cucumbers
  • Asparagus
  • Cabbage

These can be eaten raw, steamed, grilled (without oil), or gently boiled. Do mix vegetables in the same meal.
  • One small organic apple, or small organic grapefruit, or a handful of organic strawberries.

  • You may season any of the food with the juice of half an organic lemon, white or black pepper, organic raw apple cider vinegar, sea salt, organic garlic, organic basil, organic parsley, organic thyme, organic marjoram, or any other organic herb. Absolutely no oil, butter, dressings, or anything else!

  • Dinner: — The same choices as for lunch. Do not, however, have two meals exactly the same in the same day.

  • Black coffee, organic green tea, Wu Long tea, organic Yerba Mate tea, and organic chamomile tea can be consumed in any quantity as often as you wish throughout the day. You should drink at least one cup Wu Long, one cup Yerba Mate tea, and one cup chamomile tea each day.

  • No medicines or over-the-counter non-prescription drugs should be taken. (Done under supervision of a physician.)

  • No cosmetics other than lipstick, eyebrow pencil, and facial powder should be used.

  • No creams, lotions, or moisturizers, or anything should be put on the skin.

  • You must eat everything as described. Do not skip meals, and each meal must consist of the protein, the vegetables, and the fruit.

  • You may eat the fruit in between meals instead of with the meal if you choose.

Day Four Through Day Forty-Five:

Follow the Day Three instructions every day for the entire course of treatment. In order to achieve permanent results you must continue the treatment exactly as described for a minimum of twenty-one days and a maximum of forty-five days.

Starting Treatment:

Women should start the treatment immediately after their menses, or at least ten days before their next menses. During menstruation no injections are to be taken, but the diet is continued exactly as described. Injections are resumed immediately following the menses.

Duration:

This phase must last for a minimum of twenty-one days, and a maximum of forty-five days. If you need to lose more weight after the forty-five days of treatment have been completed, you take six weeks off, eating normally with the exception of no sugar and no starch. You then resume Phase 2 for up to six weeks. If at that point you still need to lose more weight, you must take eight weeks off, eating normally with the exception of no sugar and no starch, and then resume Phase 2.

The Simeons "weight loss cure protocol," as you can see, consists of a daily injection of hCG, combined with a very strict and specific food consumption plan. The specific foods used cause chemical reactions in the body, combined with the hCG

The amount of food consumed is approximately 500 calories. The reason for the very low caloric intake is that the body will only release the abnormal fat reserves after it has burned the consumed calories. Interestingly enough, eating lower amounts of calories do not speed up the process. Eating smaller quantities of food actually stop the fat releasing mechanism.

Dr. Simeons discovered that by changing the food, the fat releasing process is also slowed or stopped. For example, when Simeons added mushrooms or artichokes, even though they had the same or less amounts of calories, the fat releasing was slowed or stopped completely. This is due to unique chemical compositions in the food.

It is of the utmost importance for this protocol to work, you must strictly follow the exact procedures to the letter.

The Last Injection Day Injection:

On the day you receive the last hCG injection you must follow the diet program exactly. For the next two days you also must follow the diet exactly. This is because your body is flooded with hCG and it should take two days for it to leave the body.

During Phase 2 you should...

  1. Weigh yourself every morning at approximately the same time.
  2. Keep a daily record of your weight.
  3. You should also take front, side, and rear photos of your stripped down body on the day you start Phase 2.
  4. Take measurements of the thighs, calves, hips, waist, chest, back, and arms.
  5. Upon completion of Phase 2 take another series of photos and measurements.
The before and after pictures combined with the weight and inch loss are a vital key to motivating you to continue with Phase 3 and Phase 4. This will also start reprogramming your mind with the belief and mental image of the body you desire. This is a very important component as it will counteract the programming we have self-imposed, as well as the food company advertising brainwashing we have endured over the years.

During this phase you should lose approximately one pound per day. This will vary from day-to-day. Hunger will vary for each individual. Hunger pains will last no more than 5 to 7 days. The majority of people have no hunger pains at all, even from the first day, or have mild hunger pains that last only one to three days.

The more you did in Phase 1, in many cases, determines how long the hunger pains last. If you have severe Candida overgrowth, a clogged colon, or have taken large amounts of non-prescription and prescription drugs over the years, your hunger pains may initially be higher and duration slightly longer.

The vast majority of patients, however, state that hunger pains are very mild or nonexistent. The major feeling that people deal with in the first few days of Phase 2 is a feeling of emptiness in their stomachs. This is quite different than hunger pains. Weighing yourself daily and seeing the spectacular results will keep your motivation high, allowing you to overcome any short-term hunger.

The most common question asked about the HCG Diet is...

If a person just did this low calorie diet without the hCG injections, wouldn't they still lose weight?

Every legitimate double-blind study shows that when people eat this diet without the hCG injections they do, in fact, lose weight. However, they do not lose the problem area secure fat deposits. Their body is not reshaped. They lose muscle and structural fat.

They have massive hunger and fatigue. When they stop the diet they immediately gain all the weight back, plus even more! Those who do the diet with the hCG injections lost more weight than the other group, had no hunger or fatigue, and lost fat in the problem areas. Their bodies were completely reshaped. They did not lose structural fat and muscle. Most importantly, when they stopped the diet and hCG injections, they did not gain the weight back!

If you read both Kevin Trudeau's and Dr. Simeons HCG Protocol, you'll notice that the 2 differ in a couple of areas - For instance, Kevin Trudeau recommends using a higher dose of the hCG Hormone during the diet.

But if you're under the care of a doctor, they should give you the proper dose. However if you are not - I would recommend that you start at a lower dose like Dr. Simeons suggests (125 IU). You can always increase it if needed.

Another thing to remember is Organic Food is always best. You'll find that it's recommended throughout the entire protocol. So if possible, you should always try to go Organic.

However, I do understand that sometimes the organic foods out there can get a bit expensive. But on the other hand, there are certain organic foods that cost less than the non-organic brands. So even if you don't think you can afford it, be sure to at least check it out. Who knows you might be surprised with what you find.

Have you read Kevin Trudeau's book - Weight Loss Cures "They" Don't Want You To Know About? - If not, be sure to give it a look.

  3. Hi - I'm about to start the diet using HCG drops. You say here that no injections are to be taken while menstrating- should the drops be avoided during that time as well?? Thanks

    ReplyDelete
  4. Hello Anonymous,

Most women will plateau during their menstrual cycle, no matter which type of HCG they are taking. (Drops or Injections) So it's always best to start the diet a few days after your period.

However, if you are using the Homeopathic HCG Drops and you start your cycle while on them, there is no need to stop. This is only with the HCG Hormone Injections.

So the answer to your question is... NO you don't need to stop using the drops during your cycle.

This is a great question, you should join our forum. A forum is a great place to get answers to questions and advice from myself and other HCG Diet users. - It's called the HCG Diet 411 Forum and you can find the link at the top of this blog page, located in the navigation.

  7. Hello, I have run out of drops but still have 7 days before I'm supposed to start Phase 3. I have plateaued 3 times and have lost 20 lbs. According to weight charts I am exactly within my recommended weight for my height. Can I go ahead and begin Phase 3?

    ReplyDelete
  8. Hi Meg,

It's never a good thing to do, but if you can't help it, then just start Phase 3 like you normally would. Usually you would stay on the 500 Calorie Diet for three days to make sure the HCG works it's way out of your system - Otherwise you could gain weight fast.

    Good luck,

  9. Hi Brian,
I am on day 11 of phase 2. I plan on using the drops for 21 days as I would like to lose 10 to 15 pounds. Day 21 of the drops would be October 28, and I'm scheduled to to go on a trip with friends the next day. Instead of having to do the 500 calories without drops while on vacation, is it alright to stop taking the drops two or three days early (after 18 or 19 days) so that I can get the HCG out of my system and start phase 3 while out of town? I know it will be much easier to manage than the 500 calories.
    Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  10. @ Anonymous,

It's not recommended that you do it that way. But if you are going out of town there is not a lot that you can do about it. This blog post that I wrote will basically explain what to do.

  11. Thanks, Brian. So would stopping the drops three days before the trip and then adding the extra calories for the weekend and coming home to finish another week of the drops and 500 calories be a better idea? I really appreciate the help!

    ReplyDelete
  12. @ Anonymous,

I do think that would be a much better way to do it. So here is what you would do...

Stay on the 500 calorie diet for 3 days before your trip. Then while you are on vacation you would simply increase your diet to 800 - 1000 calories per day, by adding meat, eggs, cheese, and milk.

Then the moment you return, you would want to start the drops again, just like you were doing them before.

Good luck - Have a nice trip.

  13. What do you eat in between rounds in phase 2?

    ReplyDelete
  14. @ Anonymous,

I think I know what you are asking - You would follow the Phase 3 and Phase 4 Protocol until you start your next round.

So no sugars or starches for the first 3 weeks of phase 3 - Then slowly start adding Sugars and Starches into your diet. After that you can eat what you want, when you want to. Just be sure to use portion control and of coarse you will also want to eat healthier foods too.

    Good luck,

  15. Hi there...
I have a question....I was on day 20, 21, 22 of the VLCD when I plateued for 5 straght days..I was probably ovulating is what I calculate. I then had 2 cheat days in a row after being out of town. To get back up and running and start losing again, (I have lost about 18lbs) I did a steak day.....so following that should I just continue as normal? I am doing the drops by the way. Thanks so much! Great great website!

  16. @ Anonymous,

Yes, you would just continue as normal after that... Congratulations on the 18 pounds, that is awesome.

  17. Is it ok to do 40 on, 2 days off then back on 40? Why the 6 week break?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Hi Robyn,

This is so that you don't become immune to the HCG. It takes at least that amount of time for your body to breakdown the HCG and get it out of your system completely.

But that's just for your 1st round - The time increases each round after that. Read this post that I wrote on the topic -- How long to wait between rounds of the HCG Diet

  20. Hey Robyn,

If you are doing the drops with the actual hCG in them, you should wait the proper amount of time between rounds.

  24. @ Leigh,

I'm not sure why you are not supposed to mix veggies, but some people have experienced a stall in weight loss after attempting to mix. On the other hand, some people mix them and have no problems at all.

So if you can do it and get away with it, then I say go for it. Just watch yourself, and if you plateau, you'll know why...

  25. I have a question about injecting. Which is better, injecting into fat or muscle? I am starting tomorrow for the first time and can't decide how to inject. Have you tried both and found one better than the other?

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hi Stacy,

I think that they are basically the same... However, some people might say that the intramuscular injections work better than subcutaneous, but they will be much more painful too.

If you ask me, you should just inject subcutaneously (into the fat). You will save yourself a lot of pain.

Hope this helps - Good luck,

  29. you talk about the real HCG drops, how do you know if you have the real stuff and not the fake. I have been on the Drops for 35 days and have lost 22.5 lbs. but these last 2 weeks there is at least 3 or 4 days my weight has stayed the same, no loss, do you think I am getting immuned to it?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Homeopathic drops only contain microscopic amounts of HCG in them, if they have any at all. So I would order your own HCG and mix it yourself.

But one way you can find out if you have fake HCG is with a pregnancy test. Read this article and it will explain exactly how to do it...

    http://www.hcg411.info/2010/08/did-you-buy-fake-hcg.html

Now I am not saying that you won't lose weight with fake HCG or Homeopathic HCG because a lot of people do. Anyone can lose weight without HCG if you are only eating 500 Calories per day. However, it is not safe to do!

This is why HCG is such an important part of the diet - The HCG Hormone helps you to burn fat instead of lean muscle mass, among other things.

I don't know if you have fake HCG or Real HCG, but if you have real HCG, it is possible to become immune, so that could be your problem. But if it is fake HCG or Homeopathic HCG, that could be your problem. And if that is what you are taking, you could likely gain all your weight back.

To get your own HCG and HCG Mixing Kit for your Sublingual Drops, check out the HCG 411 Store.

    http://www.hcg411.info/p/hcg-diet-411-store.html

    ReplyDelete
  33. Hey Matt,

Continue the 500 Calorie Diet for another 3 days - Then, instead of starting Phase 3/Maintenance, you would just increase your diet to 800 - 1000 calories per day, by adding meat, eggs, cheese, and milk.

You would want to do this everyday until you receive your HCG - Then at that time, you would immediately start your HCG and the 500 Calorie Diet until the round is complete.

  35. Hi Brian! I'm in some great need of help. I bought fake HCG drops and found they were fake b/c my body is in starvation mode. I have leg cramping, pain in my arms and jaw, starving, weak, and not going into Ketosis after a couple of days. I now have some drops that test positive on the pregnancy stick. I'm wondering if it's okay to just keep taking the good drops and my body will switch into Ketosis, or I need to start the gourge phase again? If you are using Homeopathic HCG Drops it doesn't really matter how much you take. It's likely to work the same whether you take 1 drop or 10.

However, with the Pharmaceutical HCG it would make a difference. With Pharmaceutical HCG you go by how many IU's you take, not the number of drops.

    Does that make sense?

Also I did cheat a little over the weekend. 3 plain vodka on the rocks friday night and a couple chips on saturday. I lost a half pound when I weighed myself each on saturday and sunday morning. between monday and today I have not lost anything. would my weekend cheating prevent me from losing anymore weight?"

It could possibly put you on a Plateau for a couple of days, but it's unlikely that it would cause you to not lose anymore weight for the rest of the diet.

You might try an Apple Day or one of the many different Plateau Breakers.

  42. To determine the 23rd day of phase II, do you count from the fat loading days or the first day of the 500 calorie a day day? I started on Feb 15 and have only lost 9 pounds. I need 5.6 more. Should I continue it until I have lost all 5.6 pounds? Is there any way to make it go faster? 9 pounds is less than 1/2 a pound a day?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Hi Anonymous -

It's 23 days including your load days.

Unfortunately these things happen sometimes, where you don't lose a ton of weight.

Are you taking Homeopathic HCG or Pharmaceutical?

This can also play a role in how much weight you lose.

If you want, you can do a 40 day round, or even somewhere in between. But it's totally up to you.

You might try cutting out your Melba toast/Grissini Breadstick and fruit from your meals.

Do I need to really force all this food? I seem to be leaving out the breadsticks and one fruit and one veggie a day. I just cannot eat that much.

I'm also really nervous about the upcoming P3 requirement of 1500 calories a day... I have no idea how that will go!

Note - I do not have an eating disorder.. i just get bored with chewing and get full very quickly. That part is not about weight loss... I have just never been a big eater. I do think the weight I'm trying to lose now is from my body thinking I'm starving it over the last two years as I approach menopause. Everything is out of sorts.

Read this article that I wrote a while back on this very topic... http://www.hcg411.info/2010/10/trouble-eating-on-hcg-diet.html

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck,

  48. Thank you thank you! The article really does help. I'll go down to the protein and veggies only and see how it goes. I honestly think its true what my parents used to say abut me, "when she gets hungry, she'll eat."

The food tastes good for me.. I'm happy to have a little.. but after about half.. I'm just finished. I don't want any more.

I'm hitting your P3 forum next to help prepare for that phase.. seriously worried about the 1500 cal intake.

Many thanks for a quick reply!

  49. I am starting the HGC injections this weekend. I had severe morning sickness with 3 of 4 of my pregnancies and am wondering if the HCG diet causes the same symptoms of morning sickness?

  53. definitely right about the first part, the reason why some commits a lot of mistake when on the dietary program is because they dont read enough, instead they create assumptions.

  56. I have an idea to make "breaded" baked chicken on Phase 2 will it work? you take your allowed melba toast and your allowed milk and chicken. First smash the melba toast to "bread" crumbs and season it with your choice and in a small bowl put your milk with s/p, then dreadge the chicken in the milk, roll it in the crumbs then bake.

    Thank You,

  57. Hi Brian,
Thanks for your website . . . I need the extra info! I have a few questions. I am on Day 8 of Phase 2 - and using proper injections. I have only 8lbs to lose and wanted to be on the program for just two weeks. I am down 5.5 lbs, but have suffered from fatigue and lightheadedness and extreme hunger until the late afternoon. I eat about 4 times a day and just now am adding a few berries or half an apple due to low blood sugar. I worked out 5 to 6 times a week before starting, but find it hard to stay awake or climb the stairs now! (Can this also be "normal" for some?) Noting I have low bp and only need to lose 8lbs, my questions are:

Once I hit my goal weight and stop HCG and eat 500 cal for the 3 days following, will I gain weight when I start eating again?
After 14 days of hcg, what kind of diet should I follow after?
Do many people use hcg to lose less than 10 lbs without any side effects?
Previously I had tried 4 cleanses/diets and followed them for 3 weeks w/ a loss of only one pound - confounding every expert. Thus, I opted to HCG diet and am happy I am down the 5, but am certainly not full of energy as predicted. I am 5'5", 120lbs (now)!, 52, and athletic. Did I make a wrong decision to try this? Scared of being disappointed - so want to prepare my exit strategy carefully.
    Thanks for listening!

  58. I was told to take one day off a week from the hcg injections during the 40 day P2 phase in order to prevent immunity in the long run. I haven't read anything about this online. I want to follow the plan my doctor has prescribed but how many calories can you eat during that day of each week in P2?
    Thanks, Ivy

  59. On your one day off you would still eat the 500 calorie diet.

  61. Hi! Lots of good info here, thanks for the site!!

So many blogs (and even dr. Simeon himself) say NOT to mix vegetables in each meal (that each meal must contain only 1 vegetable; no mixture)

Why?? If it's so low calorie, what does it matter?

    Also,

Why can one not have the same type of meat 2 meals in a row?

in my h.o (humble opinion) it seems that so long as we're not eating more, nor less than 500 cals, what does it matter the quantity (or mixture) of vegetables at each meal or the having the same protein twice in a row?

I would love to know the answers to the above as I'm planning to start my load in at my new years party and I want to follow it to a T and get results...

  62. @ Lily -

To be honest Lily, I have to agree with you. In fact, I mixed my veggies and had the same protein twice in a row on a few different occasions.

However, if you notice that your weight loss stalls or slows after mixing veggies or eating the same protein, you may want to consider not doing it. Because the diet works differently for everyone ... What works okay for me, may not work so well for you. Just be sure to keep that in mind during the VLCD.

Good luck with your HCG Diet journey and I hope to see you back here often. Keep us posted on your progress.

    Take care and Happy holidays!

  63. Hi Brian,

I just started Phase 2 and I have 2 questions for you:

    1. I would like to be able to add in some meatless options like veggie patties, etc... I know I've read that Boca Burgers are ok on the diet, but I don't like the Boca brand...can I assume that a similar burger made by Morningstar or Quorn or Gardein would also be acceptable? And, is it still 100g?

    2. I'm on day 2 and I having major cravings!! I have to cook for my two kids and what I fix them looks SOOOOO tempting!!! When will this craving subside??

    Thank you!

  64. Hi, Brian,

I am in Phase 2 on overall day 6 of the HCG diet. I take injections I received from a physician along with all of the literature from the program. Now I am confused. The doctor did not mention ANYTHING about discontinuing the injections during my period nor did he say anything about eating mushrooms (in fact they are listed on the list of approved vegetables). Any ideas why these items seem to conflict with all that I have been reading? I don't want to "waste" my time taking shots and eating 500 cal if I am not doing it right. Thanks!

  65. Seeking some good feedback :)
I am on Dr. given injections & day 21 of Phase 2 started at 163.8lbs on Jan 3rd and for the past 8 days I am bouncing from 153-153-153-152.8-151.6-150.2-152.2 & today 151.6lbs. I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I started my period today (didnt take shot) but yesterday I gained 2 lbs. :( Could this all be from too much sodium and water gain? I track all of my food in Livestrong.com & dont exceed the 500 calorie diet and dont mix veggies & I dont cheat. (assuming herbal tea isnt cheating). I use the HCG 101 cook book. Can anyone HELP or give suggestions? I dont want to waste more time. My Dr suggested I do a 6 week round and I am counting down the days but want to make this all worth it. I am trying so hard to create new habits. Where am I going wrong?

I am on day 19 of injections and my dose is 17 units. I have only lost 9 lbs. Does that sound right? I read of people doing larger doses. And I'm still feeling hungry. After reading all these blogs I'm disappointed.
    Any words of wisdom?

  69. I just started Phase 2 on Monday, using the drops 3x a day. I know it says to eat certain foods, but I'm wondering if its ok to do this 500 cal diet only having the Herbalife Formula 1 shakes? I have 3 shakes a day (90cals each) and then either an apple or orange. Will I be able to lose weight?

  70. 1. Is it better to eat the same fruit at lunch and dinner? The same meat at lunch and dinner? The same vegetable at both lunch and dinner? Or to eat a different one at each meal?
    2. Will I lose more weight, or lose weight faster if I skip the breadstick?
    3. To weigh the meat raw, does it have to be defrosted first?
    4. Is it true that it is best to not exercise so that you are resetting your metabolism at a resting rate, so that if you do not exercise in the future you will not gain weight?

I have done hours of research online and have been unable to find these answers, so I am hoping you can help.

I went nuts today and had a diet soda 2 slices of pizza and a half of a small bagel with cream cheese with absolutly NO control. I was starving. I am going to try to keep myself really busy tomorrow or cheat with apples. How do I proceed once I receive the drops on Thursday? BTW, I am great on the HCG drops.

  81. Two-weeks into Phase 2 I have to go play golf in an alumni fund raise deal. Am I doomed if I fall off the wagon for 1 day? I figure I will need a lot more power for the game, so i will need to eat more, maybe a few beers, heck I might dive right into a 1/2 lb Cheesburger. How much damage will I be doing to my results?
Mentally, ill be fine jumping back in, physically will I be ruining what I have done? Or is the fat burning furnace just off for a day?

  82. Hi Brian,
I am currently doing the 21 day cycle of hcg injections. I am also on accutane and I have to have a negative pregnancy test result to refill each prescription. I will have exactly 2 weeks from the last day of my injections until the lab gives me a pregnancy test for the accutane. Will this be enough time for the hcg to leave my system?
    Thanks!

  83. Super frustrated - getting stalled all the time - today is the 4th day at the same weight (and my 5th stall in 21 days). My caloric intake is around 400 cals a day. No cheating, no meds, no skin creams. Could the HGC be bad? I did this 2 years ago and was never hungry... this time my stomach is growling constantly. Really not happy with these subsequent results.

  84. Hi Brian, Thank you so much for this HCG 411 forum. I'm on day 11 and have lost 10 lbs. My problem area is my waistline. I was wondering if I used one of those waist bands that are sold at exercise equipment stores that makes you sweat, will that make a difference in inches off my waist while on HCG?

    ReplyDelete
  85. Hi Brian, Do you know if it's possible for your body to just get used to the HCG, such that the hunger is practically gone and the weight loss has slowed down? I always do great during the first week - around 10 pounds - and then it drops off to 2-4 pounds per week. I find I'm not always hungry and have to make myself eat. Is this normal? If not, what do you suggest?

    ReplyDelete
  86. 1) why do we have to hold the hcg in our mouths for ten seconds before swallowing?
    2) Also: does fish weigh more raw or cooked (grilled)?
    3) does an hCG recipe for onion soup count as a vegetable at meal time? or a "free" snack?

HCG Diet Dangers

HCG Diet Dangers - Are there any? And if so, what are they? So what are the dangers associate with the HCG Diet? If you were to Google the term " HCG Diet Dangers ", you would get a bunch of sites trying to sell you something related to the HCG Diet. A lot of the websites that you will run into trying to find the answer to this question, are nothing more than marketers using fear tactics to get you to buy their product. So try not to get pulled in by this sort of thing. The truth is there are some HCG Diet Dangers, but they're probably not as bad as you think. In fact, some of them are human errors that make this method of weight loss the most dangerous. I'm talking about things like getting an infection from not cleaning your syringe. While getting an infection from a syringe is a danger that is associated with the HCG Diet, it is a mistake that a human makes that causes it. Therefore, the danger can be eliminated if you can only remember to use alcohol pads...
