What Is Candida Overgrowth

Would you like to know what Candida Overgrowth is and what the HCG Diet does to get rid of it?

Some of you may or may not have heard of Candida overgrowth. The name alone kind of sounds like something that happens when you don't take care of your yard. Unfortunately, it's much more complicated than that.

So What Is Candida Overgrowth?

This is yeast naturally occurring in your bowel or gut, but which has become out of balance with the beneficial bacteria which normally keeps the yeast under control. Candida is said to live off of sugar and starches.

If you have Candida overgrowth, and if you are overweight you probably do, you may experience massive cravings for foods that are high in sugar and starches. As this nasty bacteria begins to die, chemicals are released that cause the cravings, meant to feed the Candida.

Contributing Factors Of Candida Overgrowth

  • Use of oral contraceptives,
    • steroids
    • antacids
    • anti-ulcer medications
    • frequent or long-term use of antibiotics

  • High-sugar diets
  • Pregnancy
  • Smoking
  • Food allergies and intolerances
  • Diabetes

Eating the foods on the HCG 500 Calorie Diet will be beneficial in helping to rid you of this bacterial infestation. Once it is gone, your strong sugar cravings should disappear. As well as many other possible symptoms you don’t even realize you have.

So as you can see, the HCG Diet can be beneficial in more ways than one.
